Named Tri Quad because it features only three spirits – all produced by Quady Winery – this original variation on the Adonis cocktail was created by San Francisco bartender Yanni Kehagiaras and adds extra dry vermouth to the traditional mix of sherry and sweet vermouth.
Quady Palomino Fino is an amontillado sherry-style wine produced from biodynamic Palomino grapes using the same solera methods as in Jerez, Spain, where sherry is traditionally crafted. It has a dry, nutty flavor with Old World character that envelops the bittersweet and herbaceous Vya Vermouths for a taste of nostalgia in the modern era. A favorite palate opener.
2 oz. Palomino Fino
¾ oz. Vya Sweet Vermouth
½ oz. Vya Extra Dry Vermouth
Add ingredients to mixing glass with ice. Stir. Strain into a wine glass.
