Based on a signature cocktail that can be found at the Sir Francis Drake Hotel in San Francisco, the rose infused maple syrup adds a sweet and robust touch when blended with Starboard Batch 88 and bourbon.
2 1/4 oz. Woodford Reserve Bourbon
1 oz. Starboard Batch 88
1 bar spoon of rose infused maple syrup*
Dash of Angostura bitters
Pour all ingredients over ice into a mixing glass. Stir the drink and strain into a cocktail glass. Garnish with brandied cherries.
*Heat 1/2 cup of maple syrup on the stove. Remove from heat. Steep 1/4 cup of rose petals for 15 minutes. Strain.
