Holiday dinners wouldn’t be the same without cranberries at the table. Topped over turkey, desserts or eaten by the spoonful, cranberries are a seasonal favorite served in many households this time of year – including the Quady home! Our favorite cranberry sauce recipe – in the one and only Quady style – incorporates Essensia Orange Muscat into the mix for a delectable twist on this traditional dish. The easy recipe comes together in less than 20 minutes … the perfect amount of time to enjoy a glass of Essensia after adding a cup to the cranberries.
(Because dessert before dinner is always acceptable during the holidays.)
1 bottle of Essensia Orange Muscat (1 cup for the recipe, the rest for guests!)
1 bag of fresh or frozen cranberries
1 cup of sugar
Combine the cranberries, Essensia and sugar in a saucepan. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat to simmer and cook, stirring occasionally, until the cranberries are tender and the sauce has thickened. (About 10 minutes.)
Dish up the orange muscat-enhanced cranberry sauce however you like, and don’t forget to pour a glass of Essensia to go with!
