This is a sensational addition to your holiday dinner parties. Essensia adds pleasing orange aroma and spicy fruit flavor to this olive appetizer.
2 tbsp extra-virgin olive oil
1 tbsp thinly sliced garlic
1 1/2 tsp orange zest
1 tsp crushed red pepper
1 quart mixed olives
1/4 cup Essensia Orange Muscat
Heat oil in a large skillet. Add the garlic, orange zest and crushed red pepper. Over moderate heat, stir the garlic for about 2 minutes or until it has softened. Stir in olives (2 minutes). Add Essensia (3 minutes). Remove from the heat. Let cool. Stir occasionally. Serve at room temperature.
